Shane Guerin, MVB MACVSc Cert SAO DVCSc Dipl ECVS MRCVS
Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons, qualified in 1986. After six years in private practice, he did a small animal surgical residency at Massey University, New Zealand for three years. This was followed by a further three years as clinical lecturer in University College Dublin. He became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons by examination in 2000. Shane became a partner in the practice in 1999 and specializes in veterinary surgery with special interest in orthapaedic and spinal surgery.

Pat O'Doherty, MVB, MRCVS, qualified in 1984. He is registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London for a post graduate qualification in Radiology. Consequently, we have modern radiographic facilities and access to consultant ultrasonography when required.

He also has a strong interest in Exotic medicine.

Tom Conway, MVB, MRCVS, qualified in 1993 . He worked in England for three years before joining the staff at Gilabbey in 1996. He is studying for a post graduate qualification in Small Animal Dermatology with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London.

Lisa McAuliffe, V.N., BSc (Hons), BVSc, MRCVS, qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1995 and a veterinary surgeon in 2003. She worked in England for five years before joining the staff in 2008. She is studying a post graduate qualification in veterinary ophthalmology with the RCVS. She has a special interest in corneal and cataract surgeries.
